Position Description:  

The student who can complete laboratory and social sciences research. Responsibilities include a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting physical, chemical, biological, and biomedical research experiments, and determinations to obtain data for research purposes; compiling, analyzing, documenting, and drawing tentative conclusions from experimental results; maintaining sufficient inventory of material, supplies, and equipment for performance of duties; clean and maintain laboratory equipment; determine and set up instruments, material, and apparatus and operate laboratory equipment required for the specific experiments; prepare culture media, chemicals, reagents, and solutions; assist in literature reviews, survey research, and lab communications and events as needed.
