GENERAL DUTIES
Completes non-teaching projects or complex work in support of a Campus or University administrative or academic department. This work is generally of a temporary nature and requires specialized experience or expertise.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
This position will develop a clear, comprehensive manual for procurement processes unique to Baruch College by gathering information from key staff, reviewing existing documentation, outlining procedures in detail, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the drafting, editing, and updating process. Primary duties include:
- Interview key procurement staff members to gather information on current procurement processes, policies, and procedures that are unique to Baruch College and do not replicate existing CUNY guidance.
- Conduct a thorough review of existing procurement documentation, forms, and guidelines to identify gaps and areas requiring clarification.
- Draft a comprehensive step-by-step manual detailing the entire procurement process unique to Baruch College and does not replicate existing CUNY guidance, from requisition to vendor payment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Provide detailed explanations and examples for complex processes or procedures to ensure comprehensive understanding for readers.
- Carefully proofread and edit the manual to identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in the content.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
COMPENSATION
$47.42 per hour.
