Non-College Workstudy, Advancement Services

Supports UHD’s strategic fundraising, and alumni relations efforts by working closely with university advancement services professionals. Individuals interested in serving UHD by bolstering outside support will gain a distinctive perspective on the business services which support fundraising and alumni engagement. Although this student will not be directly involved with soliciting support, the position will enable someone to learn about the operations of a successful university and nonprofit fundraising office.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work occasional evenings, and weekends (as needed)
• In order be granted access to confidential donor and alumni information, candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be available 20 hours per week

• Currently majoring in accounting, communication, data science, data analytics, management information systems (MIS), marketing, non-profit management, technical communication, or a related field
