Description

 

Hourly Rate: $12/hr. or higher, commensurate with experience and/or education 

  • Checks-in students and maintain the confidentiality of Academic Support Center records
  •  Answers questions and/or present information related to UHD student services
  • Provides assistance with computer lab software/hardware, Blackboard, and eServices
  • Maintains and secures supplies and equipment (copier, printers, and multimedia materials)
  • Performs opening and closing procedures and follow all UHD emergency procedures
  • Clerical duties (data entry, filing, word processing, copying, mail distribution)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications

 
  • Current UHD student 
  • UHD course enrollment with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Good customer service, communication skills, and telephone etiquette
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Blackboard
  • Ability to multitask and interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff
  • General knowledge of UHD campus and student services
  • Reliable, punctual, and available to work flexible shifts (morning, night, and weekends)
  • Works twenty hours a week, Monday-Saturday
