The Department of Neurology at the University of Chicago seeks a full-time, non-clinical faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointee will contribute to the research and educational missions within a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary aging, Alzheimer's disease, and related dementia (ADRD) research Center. The position will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of physicians and researchers at the Center. The appointee will be responsible for contributing their skills, expertise, and effort as a key contributor, typically as co-investigator, but potentially as a Principal Investigator, in obtaining, sustaining, and implementing programmatic research in neuroimaging of aging and dementia at the Center.


Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) possess a PhD in neuroscience, cognitive science, or other related field. The appointee should also have a demonstrated track record in research productivity and publications in molecular and multimodal brain imaging (e.g., structural and functional MRI, diffusion imaging, and PET) related to aging, Alzheimer's disease, and/or related dementias (ADRD).
