Job Summary | We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Network Manager The Network Manager manages, designs, builds and supports the networking and infrastructure services that underpin the connectivity for all users and systems at EWU Cheney, satellite campuses, and cloud-based venues. Overall, this position will be responsible for providing for the engineering and operations of secure and highly available networks, automation resources, configuration management; design, deployment and release of new networking and telephony technologies; developing standards that enhance existing mission critical systems as well as provide infrastructure solutions based on university needs and anticipated growth. The Network Manager will have substantial responsibility for senior level network architecture, design, management, network programming and resource allocation. Additionally, this position is responsible for consulting throughout the university to determine functional specifications for IT networking and telephony solutions. Duties will involve design, consultation, documentation, hardware installation, enhancing and streamlining existing systems, replacing and restructuring of legacy systems, architect networking and telephony solutions, enhancing configuration management and automation tools, providing quality assurance and delivering analysis of data and systems for the university.
