JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division 1 and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) Director for the wrestling program.  This position will also aid in recruiting and assist the coaches with their recruiting travel and serve as a host for top prospects and their guests while they are visiting campus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support for NIL fundraising and educational efforts.
  • Build relationships with external constituents including but not limited to business leaders, donors and cooperate sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the Penn State wrestling alumni network in fundraising efforts as well as events for athletics and team partners.
  • Maintain effective communication with donors, university partners and external partners.
  • Assist the student-athletes with navigating NIL opportunities as well as help educate them on compliance and university policy. Serve as a liaison between student-athletes and external constituents.
  • Track all incoming NIL gifts, pledges, and donations from supporters of Penn State wrestling.
  • Ensure compliance with university, NCAA, and relevant NIL regulations.
  • Promote and support wrestling with sports camps.
  • Assist student-athletes with career development and placement as they work through and with NIL partners.
  • Assist the head coach and assistant coaches with all aspects of recruiting to include but not limited to travel, host for prospective students, as well as their guests.

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher plus 6 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with NCAA and state NIL regulations. Candidates should have a strong grasp of college athletics fundraising as well as recruiting guidelines and rules. Note that evening and weekend work and overnight travel will be required.

This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position also requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$56,200.00 - $81,500.00
