The Marketing And Enrollment Services has an outstanding opportunity for Multimedia Producer to join their team.

The multimedia producer will help to develop a range of videos that promote UW Professional & Continuing Education and UW Continuum College programs. To succeed in this position you must have strong video editing skills, a good understanding of scripting or story building, as well as storytelling, the use of video for social media and advertising, and an ability to work with a wide range of individuals, from students to high-level executives. Experience in journalism and/or two-camera interview, documentary style video production a plus.

In this role you’ll often partner with the multimedia storyteller to set up for video shoots and work with the content afterward. You’ll often be responsible for setup and operation of video, lighting and audio equipment; recording; advanced editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and other programs; and building stories from raw interviews and transcripts with Adobe Premiere. Occasionally assist the multimedia storyteller with shooting photos and video b-roll. Project manage all aspects of video projects from pre-production through post-production. Assist with managing videos on YouTube, including monitoring metrics and posting videos to websites using a CMS. 

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and storytelling skills; attention to detail; effective organizational skills; and an ability to juggle priorities under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
