JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for designing, producing, and curating television broadcast content. Productions will include long and short form broadcast and digital content for WOSU TV local productions. Works in a highly collaborative environment to further the established brands of WOSU Public Media. Meets regularly with Content Executive Producer - Project Coordinator to assure produced content is timely and meets WOSU editorial and technical standards. Works with WOSU TV content team to develop program concepts, ideas and scripts, plan program air dates and content deliverables on all platforms.


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Communications or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in broadcast television media. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience producing, writing, editing, required in content production or journalism in broadcasting preferred.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong writing, organizational and creative production skills required. Good communication skills and the willingness to be flexible with a schedule. Public Broadcasting Services production experience preferred. Experience using Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Microsoft TEAMS.

80% - Produces and edits high quality, for-broadcast, video content for WOSU TV local programs and digital content for WOSU digital media outlets.

20% - Collaborates with WOSU Content Team on conception of stories and hands-on follow through to create content: curating a pipeline of ideas. Other duties as assigned.


Additional Information:

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $49,800 - $66,400
