Summary

This role performs case review and sign-out of clinical tests including Sanger sequencing, next-generation sequencing of panels, whole exome, and whole genome, and other molecular tests at Baylor Genetics. This role will also work with other teams for test development and validation, new product launch, process improvement, data research, and clinical research.


Job Duties
  • Review and sign out clinical laboratory report.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the data analysis and quality assurance process.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and improve SOPs for laboratory standard procedures.
  • Partner with quality management team on QC and QA programs and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with R&D, bioinformatics and automation team to design and implement validation studies.
  • Collaborate with IT team to design, optimize, and automate the data interpretation system.

Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD and ABMGG certification are required.
