Position Title Modern Languages & Literature - Teaching Assistant
Position Summary
The Department of Modern Languages and Literature at California Baptist University invites applications for part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) positions. TAs will support faculty with “Enriched” composition classes (ENG113E and ENG123E) in various ways, such as: attendance, facilitating writing lab sections, and workshop related activities. Review of applications is conducted in an ongoing manner according to needs each semester.

Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled CBU student (graduate and undergraduates with junior or senior status), or a recently graduated student; must embrace the mission of California Baptist University, and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence as a Teaching Assistant through the integration of Christian Faith. Candidates should have strong written communication skills, including but not limited to grammar, punctuation, and documentation. Candidates must participate in training. 
Teaching Responsibilities
Leading writing labs in grammar and punctuation exercises, research activities, individual and peer workshops, taking attendance at writing labs, and directly reporting to the department as needed.
