Mixologist - Salt Steakhouse (Long Branch)

We are looking for an ambitious, friendly, and creative MIXOLOGIST to provide our guests with an intimate, innovative, and unique adult beverage experience.

Job Responsibilities

-Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
-Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
-Plan and manage custom drink menu
-Adhere to state and federal laws regarding food and beverage quality standards and regulations
-Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
-Maintain a “guest focused” work environment and nurture a custom guest experience
-Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
-Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
-Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

Qualifications

Strong candidates will have 3-5 years progressive experience working in fine dining or high volume work environments.

The Mixologist will be responsible for maintaining a high end bar experience, consistency of quality, creating new concoctions, managing inventory, and engaging with guests, etc. Compensation includes salary and tips.

-Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
-Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
-Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
-Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
-Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
-Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
-Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
-Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
