The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Military Sales Associate on the Dahlonega campus. This position will perform Inventory Stock, Marketing, and Customer Service responsibilities for Military sales floor. Assist in uniform fittings and record keeping for store performance analysis. Operate store in manager's absence for daily lunch breaks, vacation, training, and any other necessary times when manager coverage is required.
- Maintains military department sales floor; maintaining stock levels, assists customers, and cashiering.
- Assists Manager with re-orders, merchandising, and marketing military department and other related duties.
- Assists in inventory and completing recordkeeping/spreadsheets.
- Operates store in store manager's absence.
- Assist in uniform fittings during orientations and FROG week.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions.
- Requires excellent customer service skills and effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize tasks; ability to maintain records, gather and process information, ability to work unsupervised.
- High School diploma.
- A year of retail experience.
- Some military knowledge preferred.
