Posting Summary	The Department of Art & Design, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University invites applications for part-time instructional and academic support for undergraduate and graduate courses. Drawing on the resources of a large public university, the Department of Art & Design at Mason Gross School of the Arts seeks to cultivate a diverse community that values visual literacy, critical dialogue, experimentation, and the skills necessary for sustaining a creative life that can extend well beyond the studio. The Department of Art & Design offers BFA and BA degrees in Visual Arts with concentrations in Drawing, Media, Painting, Photography, Print, and Sculpture as well as a BFA in Design. The Department also offers MFA degrees in Visual Arts and Design. Successful applicants will staff undergraduate or graduate level courses in a demonstrated specialization content area. The majority of course appointments are located in Downtown New Brunswick. Sculpture appointments are located in Piscataway.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Requires a minimum of Master of Fine Arts or equivalent profile in area of practice and at least one year of relevant teaching experience. Strong pedagogical, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals , if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
