Primary Purpose:
Under the direction of the director of radiology administration, manages the department of radiology, diagnostic division. Responsible for JCAHO compliance, credentials compliance, education and training of technical staff, policies and procedures, quality assurance, radiation safety, etc. for the diagnostic division of radiology. Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.

Qualifications

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Education: Bachelor of science in radiologic technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Years of Experience: 5 years of diversified experience as a radiologic technologist to include exposure to a wide variety of imaging modalities. Minimum 1 year supervisory or administrative experience. Minimum 1 year didactic and clinical teaching experience.

Licenses and Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current licensure by the state of Ohio.
