The Medical Laboratory Science Division, Department of Pathology, University of Utah School of Medicine, invites applications for a 12-month non-tenure track position beginning October 1, 2021.  
 
Primary responsibilities include teaching to accommodate program growth in a NAACLS accredited Bachelor of Science program.  The successful candidate will participate in teaching core didactic and laboratory coursework in the Medical Laboratory Science undergraduate program.  Administrative responsibilities in the Medical Laboratory Science Division will also be assigned commensurate with prior experience and faculty interest.  Academic rank will also be commensurate with experience. 
 
Applicants must be ASCP certified as a Technologist, possess a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field, have a minimum of 2 years laboratory bench-level experience, and have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.  Preference will be given to applicants who have college or clinical teaching experience, demonstrated scholarly productivity and a record of active participation in professional societies. Individuals with generalist experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
