The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a highly organized Medical Education Program Assistant 1 to join our Office of Education team as the Pediatrics Grand Rounds administrator and Residency Program assistant. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt (paid by the hour), administrative (non-clinical) position. Applicant is eligible to work remotely for up to two days per week after successful completion of probationary period. Under the general supervision of the Medical Education Program Manager, the person in this position coordinates Pediatrics Grand Rounds, a weekly lecture series, and provides administrative support to the Pediatrics Residency Program. About the Pediatrics Office of Education: Our office exists within the Department of Pediatrics, which is part of the UNM School of Medicine. We are entrusted with the rewarding responsibility of working with faculty and learners to ensure the successful pediatric education of medical students and physicians at various levels of training. Five education programs are coordinated by our office and our staff is cross-trained to assist each other when needed. Additionally, we are part of a large, supportive network of other pediatric medical education coordinators nationwide. See the Position Description for additional information. |

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
