The Surgical Specialties Clinic at UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time, day shift, MEDICAL ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR. The Medical Assistant (MA) Supervisor is responsible for leadership of the Medical Assistants and others as specified. The MA Supervisor will also assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care.

As a member of the leadership team and the patient care team, the Medical Assistant Supervisor is uniquely positioned to create a culture of professional excellence and an environment that respects cultural, economic, ethnic and lifestyle differences of patients and staff, from the front line. The MA Supervisor works in partnership with the other Surgical Specialties leadership to grow, develop, and assess the clinical skills of the MA team. Day to day leadership of the medical assistant group is done in collaboration with the clinic manager.
