Job Summary: | Manages the food safety Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan of the Meat Science & Animal Biologics Discovery (MSABD) USDA-inspected plant, ensures all products meet USDA regulatory requirements and food safety/quality standards, performs necessary microbiological testing of the production spaces and product, enforces food safety practices and plant GMPs, assists in student training, and helps oversee/manage plant operations. Participate in teaching and extension programs/demos. Leadership and management responsibilities for MSABD team. |

Additional Information: | Schedule: This position will be scheduled to work 40 hours per week with the intended schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:45am - 4:30pm. Hours will be flexible in order to ensure operational needs are met, and some weekend work may be required. |
