Position Title Master of Social Work - Instructor
Position Summary
The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University invites applicants for a full-time, 9-month position in the Master of Social Work program.
Pay Range
The compensation for this appointment will range from $60,000-$65,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a Master’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or a closely related field. Preference will be given to applicants with a doctoral degree.
Teaching Responsibilities
Duties include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and providing clinical instruction to students in collaboration with field practicum partners. A strong interest in and commitment to the integration of faith and learning in the practice of social work are required. Preference will be given to candidates with a history of quality teaching and demonstrated relational skills. The position will remain open until it is filled.
