Marketing Specialist for Student Engagement

Summary

The Marketing Specialist for Student Engagement establishes, oversees, coordinates, and implements the Office of Student Engagements communication plans for events and activities on campus, image-setting and promotions.




Essential Functions

  • Responsible for creating, implementing, and coordinating a 365-day marketing plan for students to promote campus events and activities. 
  • Oversee all website and social media for department, including all editing and design, and in accordance with University standards. 
  • Responsible for coordinating communications and promotions for department, including various print/PDF pieces, all digital display content, messaging, and presentations.  Writes original copy, edits, and completes basic design for varying promotional pieces.
  • Provides event support for major events hosted by Student Engagement, including Homecoming, Family Weekend, Fall Welcome, Senior Week, etc.
  • Coordinates with the Office of Marketing and Brand Strategies to ensure that Student Engagement is following brand
  • Serve as the primary resource and liaison for recruitment activities with Admissions. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

The following Degree is required:


  • Bachelor's Degree. Degree must be conferred at time of application.

The following Experience is required: 

  • 1 year with web page development and creating social media campaigns

    • 2 years of GA or student work experience is equal to 1 year of professional experience
