Position Description

The Department of Marketing and Professional Sales in the Zeigler College of Business (ZCOB) invites applications for a three-year pool of temporary faculty. The Department offers (1) B.S.B.A. in Professional Sales and Marketing, (2) B.S.B.A. with a Concentration in Marketing, (3) B.S.B.A. with a Concentration in Research and Analytics in Marketing, (4) a minor in Marketing, and (5) a minor in Professional Sales. Examples of Duties

Based on the specific needs of the Department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach MKTG 373 Integrated Customer Relationship Management. Qualifying Experience / Education

Minimum Requirements:

  • A master’s degree in business

  • Evidence of or potential for teaching effectiveness
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A master’s degree in Marketing or an ABD/Ph.D. in relevant discipline from an AACSB accredited university
  • Prior college-level teaching experience for equivalent CRM courses
  • Demonstrated ability to work with or knowledge of diverse populations
  • Related business experience

Finalist(s) for these positions must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process (and/or teaching demonstration, research presentation as appropriate to department) as judged by the department faculty.
   
Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
 
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and criminal background.
