Marketing Manager -Enrollment

Summary:

Responsible for developing strategic enrollment marketing campaigns that drive enrollment goals, increase program awareness and nurture applicants through the admissions cycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Goal-focused: Develop fiscal year strategic marketing campaigns to build new leads and nurture students through application process
  • Digitally savvy: Manage marketing initiatives involving SEM, SEO, PPC, and digital advertising
  • Accountable: Build partnership relationships and ensure partners are maintaining campaign effectiveness, consistent messaging and utilizing university brand standards
  • Data driven: Analyze CRM data, paid media analytics and website analytics to drive marketing campaign decisions and optimizations
  • Team builder: Work with internal EM marketing, communications and recruitment teams to generate content and execute marketing projects—inclusive, but not limited to, e-communication streams, website content, recruitment/sales materials, news articles, blog content, alumni and current student profiles, program announcements, new program launches, event promotion, etc.
  • Professional communicator: Maintain program faculty and staff relationships and meet regularly for program updates, knowledge transfer and approvals [as needed basis]
  • Detailed orientated: Maintain content and relevant updates, as needed, across multiple platforms—website, social media, CRM, etc.
  • Collaborative: Work with UCOM, Alumni Relations and campus stakeholders to communicate campaign strategies and collaborate on enrollment-focused marketing initiatives
  • Recruitment partner: Collaborate daily with Directors of Recruitment to share campaign insights related to sources of leads, identify outreach priorities, build communication plans and maintain consistent information between marketing and recruitment efforts

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working experience in marketing, communications, and/or advertising
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field required
  • Proven working experience in managing a team and serving multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to express ideas clearly, logically and in organized fashion
  • Solid organizational and prioritization skills  
  • Proven experience with managing a team and prioritizing team’s workload
  • Requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, be detail-orientated, approach work with an attitude of collaboration and work with staff and faculty professionally and tactfully

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Digital marketing background in paid media [Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Microsoft Bing and paid social media marketing—Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn]
  • Experience with admissions and recruitment initiatives
  • Experience in vendor or partner management
  • Experience with utilizing a CRM system
  • Experience with marketing and admissions reporting and knowledge of applicable metrics
