Job Description

The Opportunity:

Embry-Riddle - Worldwide's Enrollment Management, Student Recruitment team invites candidates to apply for an exciting opportunity to join their growing team! The Manager of Student Recruitment Training & Events collaborates & reports to the Assistant Director of Training and Events to develop and manage a strategic training plan that addresses the needs of recruitment teams. In this role you will design and deliver training sessions focused on recruitment and enrollment policy, procedure, and best practices, to include effective communication techniques. Additionally, the manager will work to enhance training curriculum based on feedback, industry trends, and evolving recruitment strategies. This person will support the planning, coordination, and execution of recruitment events, including Virtual Information Sessions (VISs), College/Education/Career Fairs, and Industry Expos. They will manage event logistics, including CRM resources, scheduling, and promotional efforts. The manager will ensure seamless execution of events to provide an exceptional experience for prospective students and internal stakeholders. The Manager of Student Recruitment Training & Events will provide leadership and support to recruitment teams, offering guidance, mentorship, and resources to enhance their effectiveness in student engagement and enrollment conversion.

By facilitating knowledge sharing, team meetings, and professional development opportunities, this role fosters a collaborative team environment. The Manager will also collaborate with recruitment leadership and supervisors to assess training needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance team performance. This role will utilize data analytics tools and the CRM to track recruitment metrics, evaluate training effectiveness, and measure event and training outcomes as well as generate reports and analysis to assess recruitment performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. They will also prepare regular reports for the Assistant Director of Training and Events to communicate training and event activities and outcomes.

This is a remote role and moderate travel is required . Please note that due to staffing needs, this position is open to all candidates currently residing in, or planning to relocate to all states within the United States, with the exception of the following states:

Qualifications

Required education:

  • Associate's degree (preferred in education, marketing, communications, or related field)

Required skills, knowledge, abilities:

  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, enrollment management principles, and student development theories.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Proven project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using enrollment management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to student success, diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices and campus culture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in student recruitment, training, higher education administration, admissions or d customer service

Driving and Background Requirements:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid, US driver’s license.
  • Must meet the University’s standards for approved drivers. Unacceptable driving records (as stated in the Use of Equipment and Vehicles Procedure 1.17) include the following (for three years from the date of each occurrence):
    • Three (3) or more at-fault accidents and/or moving violations in the previous 36 months.
    • Two (2) or more at-fault accidents or two (2) or more moving violations in the past year.
    • Conviction for driving while impaired (DWI, DUI within the last five (5) years).
    • Conviction for death by vehicle, hit and run, racing, careless and reckless driving, implied consent in the previous five (5) years.
    • Serious violations result in immediate disqualification and revocation of driver privileges. The following are examples of serious violations​:
      • Speeding over 15 mph of the posted limit, driving under the Influence of alcohol or drugs, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless or careless driving, Use of vehicle in (drug trafficking, reckless homicide, soliciting), unlawful use of weapons, driving under suspension or revocation, fleeing a police officer, vehicle theft, Improper or illegal lane change, following too close, and passing a stopped school bus while stop sign is engaged.
