Job Summary
The Program Manager will aid in the tracking and maintenance of research regulatory documents, including IRB and CITI training; manage onboarding and offboarding of Diagnostic Neuroimaging employees; help with data management; aid in internal and external correspondence; help develop educational materials; aid in tracking and management of budgets and expenditures; and aid in grant management and documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Prepares, submits and maintains IRB, FDA, NIH and/or other regulatory documents and research correspondence.
  • Responsible for managing the onboarding and offboarding process for research lab staff and affiliates.
  • Oversee requests for time off/approve KRONOS.
  • Assists the Principal Investigator in the development of protocols for the lab and research studies.
  • Helps develop applicable data management queries and oversees data cleaning activities.
  • Contributes to developing educational materials and educates the community and other research professionals regarding studies and related research issues.
  • Tracks and reports on grant budgets, including expenditures and remaining balances
  • Aids in preparation of grant applications such as biosketches and budgets
  • Aids in preparation of post-award of grant documentation, including NIH and other agency reports
  • Tracks training of Diagnostic Neuroimaging personnel, specifically CITI training and other IRB requirements; notifies personnel when these need to be renewed
  • Maintains CVs and other professional documents for investigators, including updates and formatting
  • Assesses and maintains documentation of equipment needs such as computers and software, including renewing licenses as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of hiring department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Completion of provided supervisory training within one year of employment may be required. Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
