Summary

Oversees the operations, preventive maintenance, and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing of the Plant and Baylor complex.  Available during shutdowns and on call on weekends and holidays.


Job Duties
  • Coordinates with Energy Management department to ensure computerized controls and efficiencies are maintained.
  • Creates work schedules for staff.
  • Maintains equipment call out databases.
  • Supervises skilled trades staff.
  • Plans and provides consultation for plant improvements; coordinates with Facility Services staff and contractors on plant improvement projects.
  • Orders and maintains proper operational equipment and chemicals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree. Four years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement. 
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to those with a Bachelor's degree and /or 1st Grade Stationary Engineer's license.
