Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborates with university administration to develop and maintain communication mediums and marketing materials such as electronic newsletters to effectively communicate university initiatives to internal and external audiences
  • Acts as administrator for the university’s prospective student Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and provides support and training for others on the system
  • Assists in the development and execution of strategies for both new and existing email content production and delivery, including creating email content
  • Writes, edits, or rewrites emails from internal and external sources for proper positioning, and to align with brand messaging
  • Proofreads copy for email, print, and other related admissions marketing projects
  • Oversees the creation and implementation of prospective student print and email communications to maintain consistency of messages across communication channels
  • Coordinates photography and video needs for the university’s digital platforms, collaborating with university departments as necessary
  • Researches, re-purposes and executes integration of content across channels using data driven analytics, such as open and click-through rates
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Moderate amount of experience working in digital content development, email marketing, communications, higher education, marketing or other related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in communications, marketing or a related field
  • Experience using Slate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Experience with email marketing including email template creation and segmentation
  • Experience creating content strategies utilizing KPI’s to analyze data
  • Experience with HTML
