Advertised Job Summary | Manager of High Impact Practices and Experiential Education Initiatives · Are you looking for an opportunity to assist students in career development and success post college? · Are you a self-starter with excellent communication skills? · Do you enjoy meeting new people and learning about new industries and technologies? · Do you have the ability to connect and build rapport quickly? Primary duties include: · Manage internship, co-operative education, and other experiential learning programming. · Serve as a liaison with academic departments and students to connect experiential learning opportunities to academic curriculum. · Develop and maintain initiatives to promote standardized best practices across campus and provide support and training to faculty and staff. · Collect and analyze data (qualitative and quantitative) to assess the effectiveness and impact of internships, co-ops, and other experiential learning initiatives. · Market, develop, and enhance programs and services to ensure delivery of high impact services for both employers and students who use Career Center services. · Perks: · Work-Life-Balance: Full-time pay with a 37.5 work week with occasional work-from-home options. · Generous paid time off. · An engaging and collaborative on-campus environment · Opportunities for professional development. |

Minimum Qualifications | Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Willing to travel and to work occasional evenings. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree in Student Services or related field and 2 years related experience. Preferred applicants will have experience with experiential education, high impact practices, and internships/co-ops program management. |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | The individual will have the ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ideal candidate will have strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to interact with students, employers, faculty/staff, and other constituents. |

Job Duty | EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Manage internship, co-operative education, and other high-impact experiential learning programming for the University of South Carolina. Develop collaborative, sustainable projects with campus partners related to experiential education. Map or connect experiential learning opportunities to academic curriculum and develop educational content through experiential learning workshops. Offer guidance and support to students seeking experiential learning opportunities. Adopt and manage technology tools necessary for successful implementation of programs and initiatives. Confer with the Office of Risk Management and Legal Counsel on policies, procedures, and practices. |
