I. JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description Summary: | GW Information Technology is the chief provider of technology services and applications at GW. The area partners with all key stakeholders across GW to equip students, faculty, and staff with the technology and tools necessary to achieve academic excellence. This position works within GW Information Technology and ensures collaboration with both University stakeholders and external vendors. This is a management role that is responsible for managing the university’s data integration efforts, ensuring the seamless flow of data from source systems to target systems Leads a team of data integration developers responsible for collecting, processing, and integrating data from various sources while working with business owners to ensure requirements are met. Collaborates with academic and administrative departments to understand their data integration needs and priorities. Works closely with the Director of Database & Data Integrations to review team priorities and assign new requests after conducting initial analysis and review of requirements with those requestors. Provide input into the department budget and make requests for funding to the department Director & VP. This position typically provides daily oversight for the team and makes recommendations for changes to leadership. This position leads and supervises staff directly provides coaching, training and manages performance, and determines future staffing needs. The position will conduct mid-term and annual performance reviews for the development staff that now will directly report to this position. Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 6 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 4 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
