We are currently seeking a manager for our Center of Community Alliance for Research and Education (CCARE )program. The mission of our program is to increase education and awareness of the most advanced practices in health care for all patients, bringing the best that City of Hope has to offer to underrepresented and underserved patients and communities. The CCARE program manager oversees Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) activities, staff, and research protocols, managing community projects, health education programs, research studies, and partnerships.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Manage and supervise CCARE staff, overseeing program activities and research protocols.
  • Plan, develop, and evaluate culturally informed curriculum and training for staff and community partners.
  • Manage health education and cancer control workshops, programs, and materials.
  • Plan and implement capacity-building training for community organizations, overseeing advertisement and participant follow-up for events.
  • Manage CCARE health education projects and maintain partnerships with community organizations.
  • Develop and prepare grant proposals, reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Monitor the status of CCARE projects and staff, address issues, and communicate with the Director.
  • Coordinate conferences and community events, disseminating clinical and research findings through various media outlets.
