Description

 

Manages the administration of cash for the UH System bank accounts and other banking services.

  • Establishes the daily cash position for the UH System bank accounts.
  • Executes payment instructions to meet daily account funding requirements.
  • Oversees verification of previous day banking transactions.
  • Administers bank accounts and serves as liaison with bank administrators.
  • Develops and implements continuous improvement of cash management processes and other banking services for UH System and its component campuses.
  • Provides timely and accurate reporting of cash administration to management.
  • Maintains and tests the treasury business continuity plan.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    Bachelors and 3 years experience

    Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
