Responsibilities
As the Manager of the BURL Clinical Laboratory, you will oversee the daily operations of the Panorama City Laboratory site as well as 12 draw station locations. In this key position, you will be responsible for 75+ laboratory personnel, and oversee all administrative/personnel management, budget, productivity, materials management and regulatory compliance/licensing for the lab. Your role will involve consistent engagement with multiple departmental and organizational levels. Duties include:
•Lead, guide, mentor, develop and inspire staff
•Manage operations and overall financial viability of the department
•Support departmental operations and hospital missions
•Serve as the department liaison engaging with both internal and external partners
•Lead change initiatives that align with department goals and support health system mission
•Assure the delivery of optimal, cost-effective services and quality patient care
