Job Description

Arizona State University partners with The Princeton Review to offer a variety of graduate test prep services to ASU students. This partnership includes free, self-paced prep for the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT exams for current student and provides in-person & private tutoring at a steep discount to current students. This partnership is a direct reflection of the inclusive nature that defines ASU, by providing cutting edge test prep for graduate school exams regardless of an individual’s ability to pay for such services. To date, The Princeton Review has helped over 9,200 ASU students, alumni, faculty and staff to realize their dreams of furthering their educational and career goals.

This Management Intern position will manage the outreach, day-to-day programming, and administrative responsibilities required  to support and grow this partnership. The Management Intern will contribute to the effort of ensuring students and alumni have adequate resources, education, and support to successfully prep for graduate exams.

Salary Range

Essential Duties

Registration and Student Support – 50%

  • Ensure all students are aware of prep services for graduate exams and facilitate education on eligibility and completion requirements.
  • Manage the back-end registration process for students wishing to sign up for test prep services.
  • Supervise a student staff member  tasked with reviewing registration information, communicating with new registrants, and tracking enrollment.
  • Collaborate with the Princeton Review on monitoring and tracking of scores submissions and develop communication plans to registrants with outstanding accounts.

Marketing and Promotion – 25%

  • Work collaboratively with test prep services provider, CPDS partners and other ASU stakeholders on outreach and education initiatives related to graduate exam test prep.
  • Identify new opportunities for promotion of prep services across all four campuses and online.
  • Facilitate presentations to staff and faculty audiences with the intention of spreading the word about test prep services
    (ex. Council of Academic Advisors, academic units)
  • Host information sessions and panels with students/alumni who have taken advantage of test prep.
  • Maintain up-to-date marketing (digital and print) for test prep services including website, flyers, brochures, social media, and blog articles.

Administrative and Reporting – 15%

  • Coordinate reservations for career events and on-campus, instructor led courses.
  • Provide up-to-date information to Princeton Review on other on-campus tabling and reservation policies
  • Submit yearly renewal documentation and initiate staff committee when Request For Proposals  for test prep services is needed.
  • As needed, work with The Princeton Review and relevant campus entities to complete reports and security reviews
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications; Including Microsoft Outlook for calendaring/scheduling
  • Experience utilizing Google Docs for collaborative projects
  • Experience in work that requires attention to detail and accuracy of records
  • Experience in prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in project management and organizational skills

Working Environment

  • Lifting and carrying materials, as well as, pulling and pushing carts of up to 30 l b. 
  • Additional movement requirements include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. 
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods; 50% sitting; 25% standing; 25% walking
