Maintenance Mechanic - Facility Support Services

Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 11am - 8pm
Work Location: Facility Support Services,The Kirklin Clinic

Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine-to-skilled general preventive maintenance duties in the repair, alteration and modification of building, equipment, and facilities. May perform painting duties. Must be willing to perform work at times designated by employer in order to minimize patient, staff exposure and minimize interference with normal clinic activities. Must conform to productivity standards as set forth in the American Hospital Association Table of Standards.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:  High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year general maintenance experience required.  Successful completion of a credit check, using banking industry criteria, is required in determining the eligibility of candidates.

Preferred: 1 to 3 years general maintenance experience preferred.  Hospital or healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
