Job Description:

  • Operate dump trucks, snow plows, sanders, tractor-drawn mowers and other equipment for grounds maintenance. Operate light vehicles such as passenger cars and panel trucks for transporting personnel and materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment and perform related work as required.


Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations governing the operation of motor vehicles and power-operated equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures followed in the operation of motor vehicles and power-operated equipment.
  • Knowledge of the types and uses of snow removal and ice control equipment.
  • Skill in the operation of motor vehicles and power-oriented equipment.
  • Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class D license and knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations governing the operation of motor vehicles.

Additional Requirements:

  • Hoisters license shall be obtained before the end of the probation period.  


Additional Information:

Salary: $1,803.41 bi-weekly

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00a.m. - 3:30p.m.
