UW Medical Center-Northwest - Plant Engineering has an outstanding opportunity to hire a MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.

WORK SCHEDULE

40 hours per week, Day Shifts

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Performs general maintenance and repair duties to ensure safe and efficient operation

Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting work throughout the hospital.

Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner and communicates completion of work order to the requestor and Senior Lead Engineer.

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.

Facilitate quality and professional grade repairs.

Identify potential maintenance and safety problems and notifies the Facilities Manager of all such hazards and recommends repairs as appropriate.

Act as a project coordinator with outside vendors.

Utilize safe work habits and maintains work area in an orderly manner.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED

3rd Grade Boiler license from the City of Seattle

Minimum of two years maintenance experience
