Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Opportunity to shadow Manager and Specialist to gain knowledge and experience operating a corporate wellness program.  
  • Assist employees with navigating the employee wellness portal. 
  • Assist in creating and posting on our Social Media Accounts
  • Assist with planning and execution of various wellness events, activities, and challenges. (i.e. Wellness Week, virtual and in-person workshops, distribution of quarterly incentive items, Benefit Fairs, etc.)
  • Assist with special projects such as researching various health topics for distribution to university employees and creating handouts.  
  • Assist wellness team with general day-to-day responsibilities of the program.  

This position is open to work study students from the Norman, HSC, or Tulsa campus with an option for a hybrid schedule.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

  • Must attach Fall 2024 class schedule.
  • Must have accepted Work Study

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude during stressful situations  
  • Possess organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Sensitivity, knowledge, and understanding to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and from diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of social media and event marketing
