The Lions Gate Front Desk/Mail Room Assistant position is a dual role position located in the Lions Gate Apartments student community. Successful candidates must be Penn State Abington students that are looking for a part time job and interested in becoming a part of the Housing and Food Services Team at Lions Gate Apartments. The Front Desk/Mail Room Assistant is responsible for the following: Providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, faculty, parents and guests to Lions Gate Apartments. Answering front desk phone, taking and relaying messages and routing calls appropriately. Answering general building inquiries and issuing temporary parking passes to guests per Lions Gate Apartments guest policy. Receiving all mail deliveries and scanning packages in for student pick-up via the student housing system. Signing out all packages to students by checking Penn State IDs. Responsible for cleanliness/organization of mail room. Observing the lobby area and reporting any issues to the Housing and Food Services Office, Residence Life Professional Staff or University Police. Enforcing the Lions Gate Guest Policy. General administrative duties or specially assigned projects. Familiarity with social media and marketing a plus. Applicants must be currently enrolled Penn State Abington students.
