Job Title: Linguistics Adjunct Faculty (325,362,110,201,210,220)

Job Classification: Adjunct Faculty - Teaching. Day or evening classes as assigned by department. May result in multiple hires.

Start date of this position:  September 4, 2024

Required Degree: Masters in Linguistics or related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Teaching experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of linguistic concepts applicable to such fields as general linguistics, historical linguistics, research methods in linguistics, English grammar, History of the English language, translation, TESOL and other fields.

Duties/Expectations: Instructor will teach a class in linguistics or English language. Instructor will create their own curriculum including assignments and tests, and hold regular office hours to meet with students. A knowledge of core concepts is expected.

Must reside in the State of Utah to be eligible for employment consideration.  Must be willing to teach the course'(s) in person, on campus.
