Job Summary

The Department of Computer Information Technology & Graphics invites applications for a part-time Limited Term Lecturer (LTL) position to teach Sketching for Visualization and Communication in the Computer Graphics Technology program in Fall 2022 on the Hammond campus. LTL positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis.  LTLs provide instruction for our students in our degree programs.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Teach a Computer Graphics Technology course at the undergraduate level on the Hammond campus
  • Follow the syllabus and curriculum provided by the lead instructor
  • Collect course assessment data for ATMAE accreditation with the instructions provided by the lead instructor.
  • Maintain office hours and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.
  • Maintain FERPA and Title IX certification

Experience
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level, or extensive professional training experience.  Relevant professional experience in industry.  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English both in speaking and writing

Education
  • Master of Fine Art or Master of Art or closely-related degree is required
