The Department of Mathematics, with about 70 full time faculty members, currently offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics as well as a minor in Mathematics. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, full-time, non-tenure track, Limited Term Instructor or Limited Term Assistant Professor of Math Education faculty position in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education with a preferred start date of August 2024. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the area of math education.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
 

To teach undergraduate courses:

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in math education is required.

OR

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.

To teach graduate courses:

• A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in math education is required. 
   

• Elementary education teaching experience is preferred 
• Willingness to teach in face-to-face, on-line or hybrid modalities
• Record of past teaching in a university setting
