Job Summary

The Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy at the University of North Georgia invites applicants for a full-time limited-term position (with benefits). Faculty member will be responsible for teaching fifteen hours per semester of introductory and upper-level courses in anthropology. Ability to teach archaeology a plus. Online teaching experience preferred.

Review of applications will begin May 30, 2024, and continue until the position has been filled.

Responsibilities

• 5/5 teaching load, including the Introduction to Anthropology survey and upper-division courses in area(s) of specialization.
• Holding office hours.

Required Qualifications

• MA or PhD in Anthropology

Preferred Qualifications

• Archaeology specialty preferred
• Online teaching experience preferred
• Teaching experience at the college level preferred
