Posting Text | Black Hills State University seeks a collaborative leader to guide and implement a vision and strategic direction for the library. The Director will revitalize library services, spearhead projects, and assess resources in the newly renovated and expanded E.Y. Berry Library-Learning Center. We are looking for a librarian who is proactive and innovative and who will be a strong advocate for the library as a partner in meeting the educational mission of the University. This position will build and maintain relationships with university administration, faculty, staff, and students, as well as other libraries and the Spearfish community. Our library culture promotes a positive work-life balance and opportunities for meaningful interactions with campus and community members. Spearfish is a welcoming community with ample cultural and outdoor opportunities in the scenic Black Hills. The Library Director is a 12-month position, reporting directly to the Provost. Department Description and Cultural Expectations | Black Hills State University is a masters-level state university with more than 3,600 students.
