The Department of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a temporary, part-time, non-tenure-track teaching position beginning August 2021. The Department seeks a lecturer to teach Economics courses, such as Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics. This position will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval.

Salary and Benefits:

Anticipated salary is $4,356 per course.

This part-time appointment is not eligible for group health, life insurance, and retirement benefits. 

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Economics from an accredited university. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience preferred.  

Ph.D. in Economics preferred.
