Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The School of Education in the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University seeks Lecturer applicants. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in educator preparation or teaching graduate courses in related fields including educational leadership, higher education, and research/evaluation. All potential teaching is on an "as needed basis". The appointment fraction and duration will depend upon the need.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in education or closely related field.

One year of demonstrated successful teaching experience or comparable professional experience in an educational setting.

Some positions require knowledge, preparation and experience in PK-12 education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate or ABD in education or closely related field.

Additional years teaching experience in specific area.

Teaching experience at the college/university level.
