Description

The Honors College seeks to fill temporary, non-tenure-track, part-time teaching positions. The teaching assignment will vary in terms of percentage of time (generally 25% to 50% time) dependent on the needs of the department. This is a pooled search, and applications will be kept active for consideration for all appropriate vacancies within the Honors College. Teaching assignments may be in Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, Great Texts or the Honors Program.


Qualifications

The successful applicant must hold an advanced degree in the teaching discipline, preferably the Ph.D., by the start date of the appointment. Teaching experience is preferred. Applicants for full-time teaching positions will be asked to provide a statement of religious faith demonstrating understanding of and compatibility with Baylor's Christian mission.
