The Department of Biology in the School of Science at Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications to fill a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure track Lecturer position beginning August 1, 2024. The initial appointments are for two years. This is intended to be a long-term position and there is a promotion track, through the rank of Senior Lecturer, followed by Teaching Professor. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses that serve students in the Biology, and/or Neuroscience programs. Responsibilities may include teaching in Physiology, Neuroscience, Physiology, Ecology, Microbiology and/or Biology of Women lectures and in-person lab courses for non-science and science majors. A PhD or MS in biology or a relevant health related discipline is required. Candidates with experience teaching physiology and neuroscience courses are preferred. Successful candidates will have a record of quality teaching and interest to work with a diverse student population.
