The Department of Theater Arts at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for the THA 23a: Movement for the Stage 4-credit course in the fall 2024 semester and THA 110b: Contemporary Dance and Movement 4-credit course in the spring 2025 semester. These courses offer an in-depth approach designed to develop physical skills and tools for theater performance as well as a variety of fundamental dance/movement methods for performers of all levels.
Candidates with a master's degree and experience teaching at the college level will be given preference.
Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is August 15, 2024.
