Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice

The University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy is seeking candidates for a one year fixed-term appointment as Lecturer in the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy.  The selected candidate will contribute primarily to didactic teaching within the Doctor of Pharmacy program.  Additional efforts related to the School’s experiential student teaching and pharmacy residency training programs may be required.     

Applicants must have a PharmD degree, and current California licensure (or eligibility for licensure with passing the State Board exam at the first available offering). Candidates to be considered should have completed an accredited pharmacy residency and/or fellowship program and have demonstrated experience in teaching.  Teaching experience should include the development of formal class materials, course/lecture assessments, and the construction and delivery of the subject matter in a large group format.  Completion of a teaching certificate program is preferred. Collegiality and cooperation in team-taught courses are expected from the successful candidate, including prompt response to submission deadlines and to students to support the education mission within the curriculum and the School of Pharmacy. Qualified candidates will preferably have demonstrated experience or leadership in diversity and inclusion within their prior academic and professional work environments that they can bring to the education setting.
