Position Summary
The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Health & Human Sciences, Indiana University, located on the IUPUI campus invites applications for a 10-month faculty position beginning August 1, 2024. Rank and salary will be commensurate with expertise and academic credentials. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach and mentor undergraduate (BS) students in wellness / health-based courses. 
The person selected will:
1. Teach 4 courses per semester (fall/spring); 
2. Engage in service to the department, school, campus, and profession;
3. Mentor and advise students and complete expectations that demonstrate “citizenship” to the department and school.
Duties
80% Teaching
20% Service/Engagement

Basic Qualifications
Minimum – master’s degree in a Kinesiology-related or complementary discipline including, but not limited to: wellness, exercise science, health education, fitness studies, etc.

Additional Qualifications
Any one or more of the following:
· Doctorate in relate field.
· Industry/Corporate Wellness Program Coordinator or Consultant
· Certified Health or Wellness Coach
· Behavior Change Specialist
· Community Health Educator
· Certified Health Education Specialist
*Teaching experience (any level) is recommended but not required.
